About us
Our simple family-run guesthouse with excellent access to public transportation is centrally located in the metropolitan city of Essen. In just 5 minutes walk will take you directly to the center of Essen, or a 5 minute drive by tram 107 directly to the World Heritage "Zollverein".
The individually decorated rooms at our Guesthouse Nordstern have cheerfully patterned wallpaper and curtains. Our pension has a communal kitchen, which you can use as a guest of the house. Iron can be borrowed free of charge in the guest house. Laundry on request for a fee.
In the center of Essen enjoy numerous cafes and restaurants to your visit.

In the whole area of the guesthouse there is free Wi-Fi. In the TV room, you can relax and meet friends. The bars and clubs in the city provide a varied program of evening.
The tram stop "Am Freistein" for about 70m in front of the hostel. From here you can go directly to the Essen main railway station, from where you can reach all capital Ruhr cities shortly. From the Guesthouse Nordstern you need 13-minutes to the Messe Essen by tram and 25 minutes to the airport Düsseldorf by car.
